Llama antibodies to neutralise SARS-Cov-2?

A study published in the journal Cell highlights the possible neutralising effect of antibodies found in the blood of llamas against the current coronavirus. The researchers from an international team based their reflection on previous research where a llama antibodies were able to defeat both SARS-Cov-1 and MERS-Cov. This isolated antibody is able to prevent attachment and entry of the virus in host-cells and provide hope for an effective antibody therapy.
