MOOC on Tuberculosis from Pasteur Institute

The MOOC takes stock of tuberculosis today and the challenges posed by drug resistance and therapeutic advances.

What you will learn

At the end of this course, you will be able to:

  • Know about the new advances in clinical and molecular tools used in TB diagnosis, drug sensitivity testing and genome sequencing technologies.
  • Decide what are the most efficient and patient-adapted treatment regimens to cure drug resistant mycobacteria.
  • Be updated on the development status of new promising anti-TB agents and vaccine candidates.

Format

This MOOC is organized in 6 weeks. Each week is composed of 4 to 6 sequences. In each sequence, you find a 10 minute video and two multiple choice questions (MCQ) to help students check their understanding. The videos are in English subtitled in French and in English. All the tests are in English. A weekly evaluation is performed using about 10 MCQs and, at the end of the course, a final evaluation is performed with 30 MCQs.
