Group leader position at INEM-UMR7355 Orleans on Microbiota & Physiopathology

The Laboratory of Experimental and Molecular Immunology and Neurogenetic (INEM) in Orleans aims at recruiting a junior and a senior group leaders to develop original projects on the role of the microbiota in physiopathology.

INEM is a high achievement research laboratory located on the pluridisciplinary CNRS campus in Orleans. INEM is affiliated to CNRS and University of Orléans and with strong connections with Orleans’ hospital. Orleans is a nice historical city located in the Loire Valley, at 1h-train distance from Paris. Teams at INEM are leaders in immunology and developmental neurogenetic and neurotoxicology (https://www.inem.cnrs.fr/). INEM offers state-of-the-art equipment and expertise in cell biology, histology, flow cytometry, imaging and genomics-transcriptomics. INEM shares building with the national infrastructure Phenomin which archives a large panel of mutant murine models for all European research community (INFRAFRONTIER partner), develops germ-free and gnotobiotic mice models, and offers a unique expertise in multimodal in vivo imaging (https://www.taam.cnrs.fr/). Given this unique scientific and technological environment INEM is the ideal place to develop fundamental and translational research on the role of microbiota in physiopathology.

INEM aims at recruiting a junior and senior team leaders to develop fundamental and translational research on topics related to the role of microbiota in physiopathology. The institute of Biological Sciences (INSB) of the CNRS strongly supports the development of this field of research at INEM. Support for a junior track position (CPJ) will be opened in 2024. Support for more senior positions is negotiable and candidates are invited to contact INEM about the possibilities. The ideal candidates should demonstrate an excellent publication record.
